The Week of January 19th

On Monday we will be setting up your new wikis and finishing up your proposals.


Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday you will begin to research your topic. You need to narrow your topic down to something SPECIFIC and complete a case study on a NGO (non governmental organization) that is currently working on your topic.

The Week of February 2nd

Now that you have decided on a focus and researched an organization that is currently working on your issue, you will develop your own NGO. On Wednesday I will present a model presentation for you. You will create an action plan, interactive presentation and develop your wiki.

Wednesday/Thursday/Friday you will create your action plan.
Thursday or Friday you might be ready to begin the outline for your power point presentation. Before you can begin to actually create your power point you must have the entire outline complete and checked by me.

The Week of February 9th

Monday: Read an article in your topic at http://8globalissues.wikispaces.com/
You can also continue to work on your power point presentation guide
Tuesday: You should begin to create your power point and make sure your wiki has all the requirements (see below)

*Note that you should copy and paste from your documents to your Wiki pages. For ease of accessibility, your readers should not have to download files. This means everything should be cut and pasted.
